North Shore Needle Arts Guild was formed in 1985 by a group of needlework enthusiasts on Vancouver, British Columbia’s beautiful North Shore.
The group meets monthly both in person and virtually. At those meetings, members enjoy a variety of presentations related to traditional and contemporary needlework techniques, they “show & share” completed work, and partake in needlework challenges. The meetings provide an opportunity to learn from the “experts”, browse the Guild’s lending library for ideas, and garner inspiration from each other. Most importantly the meetings encourage social interaction, fun, and the camaraderie of members with similar needlework interests.
North Shore Needle Arts Guild also offers workshops throughout the year on various needlework techniques taught by locally and internationally recognized instructors skilled in their specific technique. Needlework resources available to our members are shown on our Resources page.
