Happy New Year, Stitchers

As we welcome a brand-new year, it’s the perfect moment to pause and admire the beautiful trail of stitches we’ve left behind.

Our stitchery abilities have been piqued by wonderfully presented programs, rife with interesting topics. You can review them here and even check out what’s coming. Our Virtual Wednesday team has challenged us to think outside the box, our Charm Challenge to adhere to a theme, and our Works In Progress to finish something that has been sitting in our closets waiting.

This past year was filled with patience, creativity, and countless small triumphs—finished pieces, brave beginnings, learned techniques, shared laughter, and the quiet joy of needle and thread in hand. Every knot tied and every seam stitched tells a story of dedication and care.

Now we turn the page with fresh fabric, full skeins, and hopeful plans. May the year ahead bring inspiration, curiosity, and the courage to try something new—whether it’s a long-dreamed-of project, a bold color choice, or simply making time to stitch more often. Let’s celebrate progress over perfection and enjoy the journey as much as the finished work.

Here’s to new patterns, steady hands, creative friendships, and many happy hours of stitchery in the year ahead. Happy New Year—may your stitches be joyful and your projects plentiful!
