Interested in meeting individuals who are just as enthusiastic about needlework as you may be?
We offer many ways to do this. Our members have interests in various forms of embroidery, included but not limited to: traditional, Jacobean, cross stitch, blackwork, redwork, goldwork, stumpwork, boutis and many others. Our interests lie in promoting the use of needle and thread or yarn to create items for everyday use or to simply create beautiful art. We do this by:
- Presenting programs and workshops of interesting traditional and contemporary needlework both in person and via Zoom;
- Providing embroidery challenges to encourage creativity and exploration of new techniques;
- Maintaining an extensive lending library that our members may access; and
- Holding social events.
