North Shore Needle Arts Guild was formed in 1977 by a group of needlework enthusiasts on Vancouver’s beautiful North Shore and subsequently joined the Embroiderers’ Association of America in 1985.

We meet monthly to enjoy presentations on a variety of traditional & contemporary needlework techniques, to “show & share” completed work, to partake in needlework challenges, to learn from the “experts”, to browse the NSNA lending library for ideas & inspiration but most importantly to have fun and experience an enjoyable social interaction through NSNA membership.

The variety of needlework art created by NSNA members is truly inspiring! Please take a look at our Gallery to see examples. Or check out our Posts.

NSNA also offers workshops throughout the year on needlework techniques taught by instructors recognized both locally and internationally. NSNA members benefit from correspondence & online needle work courses offered by the Embroidery Guild of America, for details see EGA . Information on needle work resources available to members is shown on our Resources page.

North Shore Needle Arts Guild is a member of the EmbroiderersGuild of America.
