A 2-1/2 day Workshop with Jo Morphett
In this workshop, you’ll create a small, slow-stitched artwork filled with layers of colour. You explore ways to create colour combinations that play off of each other to draw the eye and create a mood or visual story.
You’ll be working abstractly with shape and colour but you’ll also have an opportunity to think about and experiment with scale by incorporating an insect or bug shape.
We will also explore the variety of bug colours found in nature and discover ways to stitch bugs from an informed yet abstract approach.
