Well, 2024 is behind us, and 2025 is now into it’s fourth day. What possibilities await us? What project has been lingering in the bottom of our basket, or the dark reaches of our cupboards? Is it time to start something new? What about that new technique you just read about over the holidays that captured your interest? All these questions I’m sure many have asked ourselves. There are copious amounts of suggestions about starting off anew at the beginning of the year; setting goals; selecting a word or phrase to live by, etc. Well we at North Shore Needle Arts have a suggestion as well. Hopefully to inspire and motivate your creative side.
On these grey and gloomy days (at least they are here in the Pacific Northwest!) we like to dream about Spring and Cherry Blossoms. And yes!!! That means the Cherry Blossoms: Textile Translation exhibition of 2025 will be coming soon. The Call for Entry is out and we can’t think of a better way to spend these short winter days than by considering submitting an artwork! If you would like to enter, just pop a note in the comments and we will get the “Call for Entry” to you. Or leave a direct message on our Instagram page here, or our Facebook page here.
