It’s that time again! fibreEssence and the Vancouver Guild of Fibre Arts are pleased to once again sponsor the Cherry Blossom exhibit at the Silk Purse Gallery in West Vancouver. This has become an annual spring celebration in conjunction with the City of Vancouver’s Cherry Blossom Festival. Our members and the public actively wait for this festival to take place. Hundreds of visitors come to the area to take photos and have their photos taken. the exhibition at the Silk Purse Gallery is one of the many activities that takes place during this time each year. Specific submission criteria can be found in the submission form shown below which you may download. Using anything from real petals to the suggestion of pink in an abstract design, cherry blossoms are the central theme.
