The North Shore Needle Arts Guild is back after our summer break, and what better way to welcome the new season than with a fresh needlework display?
Our latest exhibition at Lions Gate Hospital’s Palliative Care 7th Floor display case features the beautiful work of our talented member Babs P. Her pieces showcase the expressive possibilities of the random straight stitch, demonstrating how a simple stitch can create texture, movement and remarkable visual depth.
Babs has an amazing eye for colour and a discerning appreciation for the beauty of landscape vistas. Her work captures the feeling of the landscape through colour and stitch, inviting viewers to pause and discover the details.
